Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites applications for the Eligibility Advisor I position in Elgin, TX. The role supports eligibility determinations for SNAP, TANF, Medicaid and related programs within AES, delivering customer-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range is $2,953.25 to $4,365.66 per month, with telework eligibility and day shift. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (60 college hours preferred) and one year of customer service

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility.
• Evaluate data and enter information into eligibility systems.
• Compute and authorize benefits based on eligibility.
• Process work according to regulations and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
