Health & Human Services Comm (HHSC) is seeking an Eligibility Advisor I for a temporary role in Eastland, Texas. The position supports the AES division in determining eligibility for SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, and related programs, with emphasis on accuracy and client service.

This role emphasizes fast-paced, policy-driven work in a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, some college hours, and customer service experience.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter hours are preferred.
• Customer service experience with the public is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Interview applicants/recipients in person or by phone to determine financial eligibility.
• Evaluate data from electronic sources to enter information into the eligibility system.
• Compute and authorize benefits based on eligibility.
• Process work per state/federal regulations and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
