Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Sales Consultant in San Diego to support sales execution and administrative operations across regional accounts. You will coordinate with the Strategic Accounts Team and Regional Directors to organize strategies, maintain Salesforce data, generate reports, and help with contract and billing reviews while driving customer engagement.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional partners, account planning, and timely status reporting to management.

Qualifications

BA or BS degree strongly preferred.
At least two years of successful sales (or customer interaction) experience.
Experience with digital sales products/applications and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and support selling strategies in partnership with sales leadership and other sales personnel.
Provide day-to-day administrative support enabling sales teams to focus on customer engagement and revenue generation.
Update and maintain Salesforce including opportunity, account, contact, activity, and territory information.
Pull and organize CRM and Sales Operations reports to support opportunity analysis, territory planning, forecasting, and follow-up.
Assist with contract alignment, order processing and review, billing questions or reviews, and related follow-through.
