Job summary

Cengage is seeking a Sales Consultant to support the sales process with essential admin tasks, content mapping, system updates, order processing, and billing reviews, working alongside the Strategic Accounts Team and Regional Directors.

You will update Salesforce data, pull CRM reports, assist with contract alignment, and coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure timely, accurate customer engagement and revenue generation across open opportunities.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree strongly preferred.
• At least two years of successful sales or customer interaction experience.
• Direct sales, marketing or editorial experience is a plus.
• Experience with digital sales products/applications and contact management systems such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and support selling strategies with sales leadership.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support enabling customer engagement and revenue generation.
• Update Salesforce, including opportunity, account, contact, and activity data.
• Pull and organize CRM and Sales Operations reports for opportunity analysis and forecasting.
• Assist with contract alignment, order processing, and billing questions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to drive account development and territory execution.
• Provide communications, reporting, and team support across time zones.
