Job summary

EY is seeking a Staff Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support enterprise delivery across AWS, AVI, Azure, DNS, certificate, and routing technologies. This hands-on role works with multiple teams to monitor, troubleshoot, onboard applications, manage traffic, and uphold security standards.

You will follow runbooks, participate in incident response, and contribute to documentation and automation, with a clear path to increased platform ownership over time.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in networking, cloud ops, load balancing, or similar roles.
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, routing, and high availability.
• Ability to follow change controls, runbooks, and documentation standards.
• Strong learning, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ingress and edge platform health, alerts, capacity and performance.
• Support AWS ALB/NLB, AVI load balancers, Azure ingress, and related components.
• Assist with application onboarding, traffic management, and configurations.
• Manage DNS, certificates, and edge security tasks; escalate as needed.
• Document runbooks, records, and operational procedures; support automation.
