Job summary

EY seeks a Staff Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support enterprise delivery and ingress operations across AWS, AVI, Azure, DNS, certificates, routing, and edge security. The role covers monitoring, onboarding, change control, troubleshooting, and lifecycle activities in a hands-on operational setting.

The position works with multiple teams to evolve platform ownership and build technical depth over time.

Qualifications

Associate's or bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering, cybersecurity, or equivalent.
2+ years in networking, cloud operations, load balancing, or related technical role.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, routing, and high-availability basics.
Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure using documented processes.
Ability to follow change controls, runbooks, escalation procedures, and docs standards.
Strong learning agility, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor ingress and edge platform health, availability, alerts, capacity, and performance.
Triage application connectivity, load balancing, DNS, certificates, routing, and traffic delivery issues.
Follow runbooks to collect evidence, validate health, and escalate complex issues.
Provide on-call support, participate in incident response and maintenance.
Maintain accurate tickets, notes, and operational records.
Support AWS ALB/NLB, AVI load balancers, Azure ingress services, and related components.
