Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer. You will lead on-site configuration, testing, cutover, and post-cut support for ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. This is a remote role with substantial travel across the US and internationally.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in engineering, strong cloud and virtualization skills, and experience with public safety applications. Travel up to 75% and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering/technical environment.
• Experience deploying/integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Public Safety applications deployment and integration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configures and troubleshoots ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Manages connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Resolves installation/quality issues promptly.
• Supports cloud migrations and system upgrades through MOPs.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintains skills in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
