Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to deploy and validate ECH systems across on-premise and cloud environments. You will perform site verification, configure connectivity, and support customers and partners during production deployments.

The role requires strong virtualization, Windows/Linux, and cloud skills, plus the ability to travel up to 75% and work independently in a fast-paced public safety setting.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Relevant cloud certifications and cloud troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with server virtualization and Windows/Linux environments.
• Background in public safety applications deployment preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Verify site readiness and perform production cutover testing.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Support customers and partners during deployment.
• Document changes to configurations and integrations.
• Assist with cloud migration methods and system upgrades.
• Participate in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintain skills in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
