Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to deploy and integrate on-prem and cloud-hosted ECH solutions. You’ll configure, test, and support deployments across customer sites with significant travel in the US and internationally.

The role reports to the ECH Field Engineer Manager and requires strong virtualization, cloud, and network skills, plus the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering/technical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• US passport eligibility for international travel up to 75%.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with virtualization servers and Windows/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Perform site verification testing before production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local infra and cloud apps.
• Provide support to customers and partners during deployment.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
