Job summary
Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to implement and support ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. This remote role requires up to 75% travel; you will configure, test, and cut sites, work with cloud integrations, and partner with customers and channels to ensure a smooth deployment.
The position emphasizes independent work, cloud-native tech, and strong troubleshooting across networks, servers, and telephony.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an Engineering or Technical environment.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) are a plus.
- Experience with network and security fundamentals (Network+ and Security+).
- Experience with Cloud-based troubleshooting and identity management (SSO/AD).
- Experience with virtualization and server administration (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with SIP, ACD, and SBC provisioning and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Configures and tests ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
- Troubleshoots connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Supports customers and channel partners during deployment.
- Documents changes to cloud configurations and integrations.
- Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
