Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Remote ECH Field Engineer to implement and support Emergency Call Handling systems across on‑premise and cloud-hosted environments. This role requires up to 75% travel within the US and internationally, reporting to the ECH Field Engineer Manager.

You will configure, test, and validate site integrations, provide deployment support to customers and partners, and document all changes while staying current with cloud-native public safety technologies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher in CS/engineering/IT or related field.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing before production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provides production deployment support to customers and partners.
• Documents changes including cloud configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Participates in method development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Contributes to pre-contract oral presentations and negotiations.
• Maintains expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies.
