Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to deploy Emergency Call Handling (ECH) solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. The role requires strong cloud skills, network troubleshooting, and collaboration with customers and partners.

You will verify sites, configure systems, and support migrations while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of cloud-native public safety technologies. Travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Technology required.
• 5+ years in an Engineering or Technical environment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (not eligible for employer sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Configures and tests ECH systems on-premise and cloud-hosted environments.
• Performs site verification testing before production cutover.
• Troubleshoots connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Supports customers and partners during deployment.
• Documents changes including cloud configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Participates in MOP development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Engages in pre-contract discussions and customer negotiations as needed.
• Maintains expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies.
