Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to deploy and support ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. You will configure, test, and validate integrations, ensuring smooth cutovers and ongoing production support for customers and partners.

You will collaborate with field teams, manage cloud tenancy configurations, and contribute to protocol migrations and security considerations. Travel up to 75% domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
• Experience with cloud-based apps and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Configures and troubleshoots ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud/SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing before production cutover.
• Manages connectivity between local sites and cloud environments.
• Delivers production deployment support to customers and partners.
• Documents changes to cloud tenancies and integrations.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Contributes to cloud migration and system upgrade MOPs.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintains skills in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
