Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Remote ECH Field Engineer to lead system configuration, testing, and cutover activities for on-prem and cloud-hosted Emergency Call Handling solutions. Role involves significant travel (US and international) and collaboration with customers and partners.

You will verify site readiness, troubleshoot connectivity, and document configuration changes while supporting cloud migrations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Relevant Cloud Certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
• Experience with cloud-based application troubleshooting, including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for all supported ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production deployment.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and partners during deployment to production environment.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during implementation.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved promptly.
• Contributes to Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintains skills in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
