Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer for a remote US-based role with extensive travel (50-75% US and international). You will configure, test, and optimize ECH systems across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments, collaborating with customers and partners to ensure successful deployments.

You will troubleshoot connectivity, document changes, and contribute to cloud migration methods while staying current on cloud-native safety technologies and industry

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT/Engineering/Tech.
• Experience with cloud and on-prem deployments for public safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local infra and cloud environments.
• Supports customers and partners during deployment.
• Documents changes: cloud tenants and API integrations during deployment.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Contributes to Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintains expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies.
