Job summary

Equip, a fully virtual eating disorder treatment program, seeks a Float Therapist to provide cross-state telehealth coverage. You will support continuity of care during clinician leaves and surge periods, working across 30+ states with evening hours to match patient time zones.

The role emphasizes evidence-based modalities (FBT, CBT, ACT), rapid intake, crisis interventions, and strong collaboration with physicians, dietitians, mentors, and external providers. Remote work enabled.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-licensure clinical experience providing psychotherapy
• Active, unrestricted license enabling independent practice across states
• Experience with eating disorders and telehealth modalities
• Ability to cover 3–4 late evening shifts per week until 6pm PST

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth
• Maintain clinical availability during peak hours across time zones
• Conduct diagnostic assessments, risk management, and crisis interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care handoffs
• Deliver high-quality documentation within EMR per standards
• Participate in supervision and trainings
• Adhere to scheduled hours, productivity targets, and response times
• Perform other duties as assigned
