Job summary

Equip is a fully virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program delivering care nationwide. The Float Therapist role provides cross-state coverage to ensure continuity of care, with 30 hours per week and 3–4 late evening shifts per week in Pacific Time.

Telehealth delivery and EMR documentation are essential to patient outcomes. Candidates must hold an active clinical license and PSYPACT/ interstate authorizations to practice in 30+ states, with 2+ years post-licensure and experience

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience providing direct evidence-based psychotherapy in outpatient/telepsychology settings.
• Active, unrestricted state license allowing independent practice.
• Active interstate licenses or PSYPACT enabling practice across 30+ states.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth and adapt care plans during clinician absences or high-volume periods.
• Maintain clinical availability during peak hours with 3–4 late evening shifts per week (until 6pm PST).
• Conduct diagnostic assessments, triage, risk management, and crisis interventions for temporary coverage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination and handoffs.
• Deliver prompt, accurate clinical documentation and patient messaging in the EMR per standards.
