Sartorius North America is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist (Downstream) with a remote-based setup in the San Francisco or San Diego area. You will pursue new business through hands-on technical selling, demos, and trials to drive revenue and product adoption, then hand over accounts for long-term development with Central Sales.

You must be located within a commutable distance to San Francisco or San Diego.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience in life sciences or engineering.
• 3+ years in technical sales, applications support, or presales in scientific/technical settings.
• Experience with demos and trials to accelerate adoption.
• Strong consultative communication skills to articulate value.
• Proficient with CRM systems and structured sales processes.
• Willing to travel >50% for external customer focus.

Aufgaben

• Identify, reach, and engage prospective customers to generate new business opportunities with Central Sales.
• Plan, execute, and manage technical demos and trials to validate fit and accelerate adoption.
• Drive deal progression by framing solution fit and addressing objections to win.
• Shape customer proposals with technical input to impact deal closure.
• Provide pre and post-sales technical support to ensure adoption and smooth transition to Central Sales.
• Capture Voice-of-Customer insights and share with Central Sales for portfolio planning.
