Job summary

Sartorius North America is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to support downstream processing technologies and enable customer success across the Central Region and Canada. This remote role partners with customers to deliver technical expertise, trials, troubleshooting, and workflow recommendations.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in application support within biologics or related fields, with strong communication and hands-on training capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in application support, technical support, field applications, or customer-facing roles in downstream processing environments.
• Experience in biologics manufacturing; exposure to cell/gene therapy is a plus.
• 1+ years in biologics process development and scale-up for monoclonal antibodies; other modalities beneficial.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and application challenges in customer environments.
• Hands-on demonstrations, trials, and training with clear documentation of outcomes.
• Ability to collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Quality and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate process requirements into product and workflow recommendations.
• Design, coordinate, and document customer evaluation plans and outcomes.
• Troubleshoot inquiries and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Provide technical insights to improve solution fit during opportunity development.
• Capture feedback and trends to support portfolio enhancements.
• Assist in training Field Application Specialists and Sales teams.
• Train customers on new technologies and support start-up activities.
• Support quality investigations and monthly territory reporting.
