Job summary
Sartorius is seeking a Field Application Specialist to support downstream bioprocessing in the San Francisco Bay area. This remote-based role is home-office oriented with on-site customer support required in the region.
You will deliver product expertise and application knowledge across customer processes for Separation Technology. Travel approx. 40% domestically in a Northwest-focused role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biological engineering, biotechnology or other life sciences related field.
- 3+ years experience in downstream bioprocessing (TFF, UF/DF, NFF).
- Familiarity with life science application experiment technology and current topics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong customer orientation and ability to interface with product/project teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide product expertise and technical support across customer processes for separations technologies.
- Support Sales with product presentations, demonstrations and beta-site testing.
- Assist with first product installations, startup and customer training.
- Support Quality through troubleshooting of customer processes.
- Report competitor feedback to applications team and product management.
