Job summary

LifeNet Health is seeking a Donation Coordinator to provide donor referral and screening services remotely. You will engage with OPOs, eye banks, hospitals, and funeral homes, triage calls, and guide families through the donation discussion with compassion.

Responsibilities include evaluating donor eligibility, coordinating tissue transport, processing referrals, and maintaining thorough documentation while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3 years in healthcare or emergency services.
• Preferred associates degree and CTBS certification bolster qualifications.
• Experience with donor management systems and related documentation is desired.

Responsibilities

• Screening and logistics: evaluate donor eligibility using medical records and history; arrange tissue transport with partners.
• Donor referrals: identify and process organ, tissue, and eye referrals to maximize donations.
• Triage and escalations: assess calls and messages, prioritize urgency, and route to appropriate task owners.
• Donation and grief support: support donor families empathetically and complete required paperwork accurately.
