Nevada Donor Network is seeking a Donation Coordinator to support donor referrals and tissue/eye recovery operations. You will coordinate medical screenings, discuss donation options with families, and assist hospitals, coroner offices, funeral homes, and tissue processors.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a healthcare technical or professional program with current certification such as EMT, Critical Care Tech, OR Hospital Corpsman, or LPN.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and healthcare terminology knowledge is important.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides exemplary customer service to all callers and stakeholders.
• Communicates effectively with all stakeholders to facilitate a positive donation outcome and documents interactions.
• Assesses donation potential by reviewing patient clinical course and health history with hospital staff.
• Obtains donation consent/authorization and medical history from families with empathy and accuracy.
• Screens donor tissues with contracted tissue processors per established protocols.
• Maintains accurate real-time data entry and complies with quality systems.
