Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Duluth, MN is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead the NW Wisconsin and NE Minnesota territories, including Lake Superior region. You will drive growth in metal roofing and wall panel products, and manage a $6M territory with distributors and lumber yards.

The role requires 3–5+ years in building materials sales, strong relationship-building, and the ability to travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Experience in building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or adjacent industries strongly preferred.
• Understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels highly preferred.
• Experience with estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles valued.
• Strong relationship-building skills with a commitment to consistent customer follow-up.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, customer-focused sales environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own & Grow Your Territory: Manage a well-established ~$6M territory and expand customer relationships.
• Develop Customer Partnerships: Work with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards.
• Drive Sales Growth: Balance maintaining current business with prospecting and new opportunities.
