Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a District Sales Manager to grow the Alaska territory and strengthen relationships with distributors, lumber yards, and dealers. You will promote metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessories across residential, commercial, and agricultural markets.

The role requires strong sales, relationship-building, and the ability to travel up to 60% while maintaining a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of sales experience in building materials or related industries.
• Experience with dealer/distribution sales channels preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and customer follow-up skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Own & Grow Your Territory: Manage a well-established territory and expand customer relationships.
• Develop Customer Partnerships: Work with distributors, dealers, and lumber yards to support business needs.
• Drive Sales Growth: Balance maintaining existing business with proactive prospecting and new opportunities.
• Sell Industry-Leading Products: Represent metal roofing, wall panels, trims, and accessories across markets.
• Support Product Training & Pull-Through Sales: Conduct education and contractor training programs.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and support teams.
• Provide Responsive Customer Support: Handle high-volume customer interactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Navigate Brand Integration: Help customers adapt to ongoing product and system changes.
