Job summary

Cox Fleet, a unit of Cox Enterprises, is seeking a senior manager to lead a remote/field-based team within the United States. You will coach staff, optimize dispatch efficiency, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, relationship building, and process excellence to support Cox Automotive Mobility’s digital marketplace. Remote work is possible for many locations, with some hybrid options near specific sites.

Qualifications

Requires at least a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 6 years of related experience.
Leadership/management experience required (1+ year).
Experience in automotive or fleet management preferred.
Experience supporting process and operational excellence.
Excellent relationship building, networking, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a high‑performance, fast-paced team environment.
Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Manage all assigned team members.
Coach team on operational excellence, dispatch timeliness, team efficiency, phone metrics.
Monitor alerts and monitoring systems for optimal performance.
Support personal development, motivation and training.
Conduct annual reviews and QIP measurements.
Collaborate with HR on recruiting, promotions, wages and schedules.
Interact with customers or vendors to ensure proper event handling.
Handle other duties and projects as assigned.
