Job summary

Cox Enterprises seeks a senior operations leader to manage a team delivering fleet management services within the United States. You’ll guide performance, optimize dispatch processes, and work with HR on recruitment and staff development in a fast-paced, remote/hybrid setting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in related fields, with at least 1 year in a leadership position; automotive or fleet experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 6 years of related experience; alternative combinations such as master's degree with 4 years, Ph.D. with 1 year, or 10 years total experience accepted.
• At least 1 year of experience in a management/leadership role.
• Experience in the automotive industry or fleet management preferred.
• Experience supporting process and operational excellence; strong relationship building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned team members and coach on operational excellence, dispatch timeliness, team efficiency, phone metrics and staff utilization.
• Manage alerts and event monitoring software and ensure processes are maximized.
• Assist team members in personal development, motivation, and training; perform annual reviews and QIP measurements.
• Collaborate with HR in recruiting, interviewing and promotions; work on wages, hours and employee issues; enforce policies.
• Interact with customers or vendors to ensure proper handling of events; perform other duties as assigned.
