Cengage is seeking a Director of Web Experience & Performance to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our global web ecosystem. You will drive performance optimization, experimentation, and AI-enabled improvements across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C markets.

The role reports to the VP of Marketing Operations within Cengage's Global Marketing Organization and leads a world-wide web management and production team, balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading web, digital experience, optimization or digital marketing in enterprise settings.
• Proven ability to translate vision into measurable business outcomes.
• Experience with large-scale web transformations and migrations.
• Deep expertise in CMS, analytics, SEO, experimentation and personalization.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise web strategy and platform roadmap.
• Own key web performance metrics and report on business impact.
• Lead a global web operations team and governance model.
• Drive AI-enabled optimization, experimentation, and personalization at scale.
• Partner with marketing, product, analytics, and tech for measurement frameworks.
• Deliver large-scale digital transformation initiatives and governance.
