Job summary

Cengage is seeking a Director of Web Experience & Performance to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our web ecosystem globally. This role reports to the VP of Marketing Operations and will manage a global web management and production team.

The ideal candidate will drive optimization, experimentation, personalization, and AI-enabled innovation across B2B/B2C/B2B2C markets while collaborating across marketing, product, analytics, and operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading web, digital experience, optimization, or digital marketing functions.
• Proven success in web conversion optimization and measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading large-scale web transformations in enterprise companies.
• Deep expertise in CMS, asset management, web analytics, SEO, personalization, and experience management.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled optimization technologies and modern digital ecosystems.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, privacy regulations, and digital governance.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.
