Cengage is seeking a strategic Director of Web Experience & Performance to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our web ecosystem as a driver of engagement and growth. The role reports to the VP, Marketing Operations and leads a global web management and production team.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience leading web, digital experience, or digital marketing functions in enterprise environments.
Proven success developing a web conversion optimization strategy with measurable business outcomes.
Experience leading large-scale web transformation, migration, or consolidation initiatives.
Deep expertise in CMS, asset management, web analytics, customer journey optimization, SEO, experimentation, personalization.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the enterprise web strategy, including experience architecture, platform roadmap, governance model, and operating framework aligned to business objectives.
Own key web performance metrics including engagement, conversion, customer journeys, acquisition efficiency, and business growth.
Build and scale an experimentation program across web experiences, journeys, content, messaging, and conversion paths.
Lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives including platform modernization and site migrations.
Build and lead a global web operations team with clear goals and development plans.
