Job summary

You will mentor designers, collaborate with product, marketing, analytics, and engineering, and drive continuous optimization and experimentation to improve conversion and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior Web Experience Design role with 3+ years of people management.
• Experience in ecommerce, growth, conversion optimization, or transactional digital experiences.
• Deep UX/UI knowledge, human-centered design, accessibility, and modern design processes.
• Strong collaboration and the ability to influence senior leaders.
• A portfolio is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision for Cengage’s web experience and define UX/UI strategy.
• Lead and mentor a design team to deliver high-quality experiences.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering on hypotheses and tests.
• Advance ecommerce and conversion experiences across the customer journey.
• Use data to identify opportunities and prioritize improvements.
• Build a culture of continuous optimization with iterative testing.
• Stay ahead of evolving web practices including AI-enabled experiences.
