Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior Web Experience Design role with 3+ years leading design teams.
• Strong ecommerce, growth, conversion optimization, or transactional digital experience.
• Deep expertise in UX and UI, accessibility, responsive design, and modern digital processes.
• Portfolio is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision for Cengage’s web experience and define UX/UI strategy.
• Lead and mentor a design team to improve experience quality and impact.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering on hypotheses and tests.
• Advance ecommerce and conversion experiences across customer journeys.
• Design coherent experiences across acquisition, exploration, purchase, onboarding, and engagement.
• Use qualitative and behavioral data to identify opportunities.
• Foster a culture of continuous optimization and iterative testing.
• Stay ahead of evolving web design practices including AI-enabled experiences.
