Paper Transport LLC is seeking a Remote Director of Business Development to lead our sales strategy, drive growth, and expand market presence across key verticals in the transportation sector. The role reports to the Vice President of Sales and collaborates with marketing and operations to deliver value to customers.

The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in growth initiatives within high-value industries.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred; five+ years in transportation or related field is required.
• Experience in high-service/high-value industries is preferred.
• Strong communication and strategic planning abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, nurture, and win new contractual dedicated business.
• Evaluate customer needs and solve with Paper Transport’s value.
• Lead the pursuit of dedicated and expansion/renewal opportunities.
• Coordinate full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, and cross-functional pursuit team.
• Develop pricing, service, and value proposition messaging for deals.
• Build industry network and pipeline to grow revenue.
