Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Director of High Voltage to lead strategy development and execution for HV solutions across utility-scale, commercial and industrial projects. The role is fully remote with interview-stage discussions on location expectations.

Responsibilities include overseeing HV project design, construction and commissioning while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance; driving profitability and client satisfaction; and mentoring a team of HV professionals.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in design or construction of HV and substation projects.
• Strategic thinker able to analyze market trends and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot and prioritize problems.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.
• Proficiency in office practices, procedures and equipment.
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the High Voltage strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Identify market opportunities for High Voltage deployment, including utility-scale projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and finance to develop cost-effective High Voltage solutions.
• Oversee the design, construction and commissioning of High Voltage projects with safety and regulatory standards.
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and partners for resources and expertise.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a High Voltage team.
• Represent the company at client meetings and regulatory proceedings.
