Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations and drive performance across the Commercial P&C line. This role partners with executives to standardize workflows, enhance client service, and scale operations for growth while supporting M&A integration and strategic initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7+ years in operational leadership within a large insurance brokerage or agency, a valid P&C license, and CPCU or CIC designation.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage or agency.
• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation or equivalent.
• Strong workflow optimization and change leadership abilities.
• Experience with M&A integration and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources.
• Provide guidance on agency operations and EPIC usage.
• Support M&A integration through assessments and planning.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and accountability.
