Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations, standardize workflows, and drive operational excellence. This role partners with regional leadership to optimize service delivery, support M&A integration, and advance the agency’s operating model.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in Commercial Lines leadership within a large brokerage, holds an active P&C license, and designations such as CPCU/CIC.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations, service delivery, and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and operational excellence.
• Support M&A integration initiatives through operational assessments and alignment.
• Promote EPIC usage and optimize workflows and systems to boost performance.
