Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national P&C operations and drive strategic initiatives across the brokerage. This role partners with divisional leaders to enhance workflow, service delivery, and profitability while shaping the operating model for Commercial Lines.

Remote work is supported with Central Time hours preferred. The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership, an active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designation, with

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership at a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong knowledge of commercial P&C agency operations and workflows.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting M&A integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence leaders in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement to boost productivity and quality.
• Analyze staffing and capacity for growth.
• Support M&A integration with operational assessments and planning.
• Promote EPIC utilization and relevant tech tools.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to drive adoption of new processes.
