Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations. This remote role partners with divisional leadership to standardize workflows, scale operations, and drive M&A integration while delivering exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate has a P&C license, CPCU or CIC, and 5–7+ years of leadership experience in a large brokerage or agency, with strong communication and analytical skills. Central Time zones preferred for remote work.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of commercial lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in commercial P&C operations, workflows, and servicing models.
• Experience in workflow standardization and process optimization.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and sustainable improvements.
• Workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions and operational integration.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement to increase productivity and consistency.
• Evaluate issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
• Analyze staffing and service demands to develop capacity plans.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
