Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead nationwide Commercial P&C operations and agency workflows. The role partners with senior leadership to standardize processes, support growth, and drive performance across producers and operations.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Property & Casualty license, CPCU/CIC or equivalent, and 5–7+ years of leadership in a large brokerage. Remote work is available with some on-site requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large insurance brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions and operational integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations and service delivery.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and optimize resource use.
• Support integration planning and workflow alignment for M&A initiatives.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, systems, and industry best practices.
