Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national P&C operations, standardize workflows, and drive efficiency. The role partners with regional leadership to optimize service delivery and scale operations across the brokerage.

The ideal candidate will have a P&C license, CPCU/CIC designation preferred, and 5–7+ years of leadership in a large insurance brokerage. Remote work is offered with occasional onsite needs as required by policy.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience conducting workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives to strengthen operations and service delivery.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement projects to boost productivity and consistency.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and transformation.
• Support mergers and acquisitions through operational integration planning.
