Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to drive national strategies for Commercial Property & Casualty operations. The role partners with divisional leaders to standardize workflows, improve processes, and support growth across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license with CPCU/CIC designation and 5–7+ years of leadership in a large brokerage environment. Remote work is supported with occasional on-site requirements per policy.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with leadership to strengthen operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable, efficient solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to boost productivity and reduce variation.
• Support M&A initiatives through operational assessments and integration planning.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to implement strategic initiatives.
• Promote EPIC and related systems usage to optimize performance.
