Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial Property & Casualty operations. The role partners with leadership to standardize workflows, improve processes, and scale operations while supporting M&A integrations.

The ideal candidate has a P&C license, CPCU/CIC designation, and 5–7+ years in a large brokerage setting, with proven leadership and stakeholder management能力. Remote work is preferred with on-site options as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations, service delivery, and organizational performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency, quality, consistency, and client outcomes.
• Establish and promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Evaluate operational issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Ensure alignment with Managed Services and organizational goals.
• Provide national expertise on agency operations, workflows, systems, and best practices.
• Support merger and acquisition integration through operational assessments and standardization.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to drive engagement and accountability.
• Promote EPIC and other technology optimization to boost performance.
