Job summary

Leica Biosystems is seeking a Digital Pathology Helpdesk Engineer (f/m/d) for a fully remote role within the DACH region. You will respond to inbound Digital Pathology queries, escalate as needed, and support on-site when required, enabling fast, accurate diagnostics across regions.

You will diagnose, log, and resolve software issues, coordinate with regional teams, and help maintain high‑quality digital pathology services while contributing to a world‑class support organization.

Qualifications

Experience in remote troubleshooting of software.
Database management skills, Windows Server 2008 - 2022 & virtual machines.
Work with Mirth Connect and HL7.
Networking skillsets - remote storage management, domain, and non-domain related, group policies, Firewall knowledge.
Language Skills – Fluent in German and English

Responsibilities

Diagnose fault remotely and provide troubleshooting to customers via phone/email remote login & troubleshooting.
Record activities in CRM and support systems; log software issues.
Coordinate with multi-country teams and Leica departments to resolve issues.
Accept incoming contacts, prioritize by incident type, contract type, and instrument type.
Escalate to Manager when needed and implement countermeasures to recurring issues.
