Job summary

EY is seeking aManager in the Service Delivery Center to balance hands-on software engineering with project leadership. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support, while staying close to code and technical decisions.

You will coordinate delivery across geographically distributed teams, mentor engineers, manage dependencies, and maintain clear client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/Engineering/IS or related field.
• 6+ years of technology software development experience including leading project teams.
• Hands-on coding with Java and Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with Angular or React and full-stack guidance.
• Experience building and deploying enterprise apps on a major cloud platform.
• Strong CI/CD, container deployments, testing, and code-quality gates.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and distributed teams.
• Mentorship and coaching skills for engineering teams.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Knowledge of Splunk or similar observability tools.
• Familiarity with Hadoop/Spark/Flink for batch/real-time processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery across all phases.
• Remain hands-on with coding, reviews, troubleshooting, and PoCs.
• Guide design using Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and frontend frameworks.
• Plan Agile delivery, backlog, sprint planning, and release readiness.
• Coordinate work across geographically distributed teams.
• Mentor engineers and coach for improved practices.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, DevOps, and security.
• Monitor scope, schedule, risks, and delivery metrics.
• Promote secure development, CI/CD, observability, and reliability.
• Support data processing solutions with Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or Flink when needed.
