EY is seeking a Manager in the Service Delivery Center to balance hands-on software engineering with project leadership. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support while remaining close to code and technical decisions.

You will coordinate delivery across geographically distributed teams, mentor engineers, manage dependencies and risks, and maintain clear communication with client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of technology software development experience with leadership of project teams or major delivery workstreams.
• Hands-on coding with Java and Spring Boot, including microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience guiding full-stack decisions with at least one modern UI framework (Angular or React).
• Experience deploying and supporting enterprise apps on a major cloud platform.
• Proficiency with source control, build automation, CI/CD, containers, unit/integration testing, and code-quality gates.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, sprint planning, backlog management, release planning, and delivery tracking.
• Experience coordinating distributed teams across geographies and stakeholders.
• Mentorship and coaching skills to raise engineering practices and team capability.
• Experience with asynchronous/event-driven architectures (Kafka or equivalent).
• Experience with logging/monitoring/observability (Splunk or similar).
• Working knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, or Flink for batch/real-time data processing.
• Ability to manage delivery risks, production issues, and client communications; willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end software delivery across planning, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
• Remain hands-on with coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical proofs-of-concept.
• Guide solution design using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native patterns.
• Plan and manage Agile delivery including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and demonstrations.
• Coordinate work across geographically distributed teams with clear ownership and timely decisions.
• Mentor engineers through technical coaching, design reviews, and career development discussions.
• Partner with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, security, operations and client stakeholders to translate requirements into delivery plans.
• Monitor scope, schedule, quality, risks, issues, and delivery metrics; elevate impediments with actions.
• Promote secure development, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness across lifecycle.
• Support event-driven/data-processing solutions using Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Flink or equivalent.
