GuidePoint Security is seeking a DevSecOps Presales Solutions Engineer to collaborate with Account Executives and senior AppSec/AI leaders in the Mid-Atlantic region, focusing on AppSec and AI security with growth into VM and Cloud Security.

The role targets engineers with 1–3 years of presales experience who want to deepen technical and customer-facing skills while contributing to deal success. Remote work options are available in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in presales, sales engineering, or similar client-facing technical roles.
• Foundational knowledge of Application Security and AI security concepts, secure software development, and DevSecOps.
• Interest in AI/ML systems, AI security risks, and governance considerations.
• Ability to quickly learn new cyber technologies and articulate value to varied audiences.
• Strong discovery skills to understand customer AppSec and AI gaps and craft solutions.
• Willingness to research emerging vendors and technologies relevant to AppSec/AI.
• Excellent soft skills to translate complex tech into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and senior AppSec/AI engineers to drive new and continued business in the territory.
• Perform technical qualification, discovery, and positioning for AppSec and AI presales opportunities.
• Articulate AppSec/AI risks, controls, and architectural tradeoffs to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Align customer AI goals with foundational AppSec realities across buyer maturity levels.
• Learn new AppSec and AI technologies and articulate their value across the security landscape.
• Participate in Sales/Marketing events to raise awareness of GuidePoint's AppSec/AI offerings.
• Support development of Statements of Work, proposals, and technical collateral.
• Embrace emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve problem solving and outcomes.
• Report to Engineering leadership within the DevSecOps practice.
