It targets a 3+ year presales background and combines technical credibility with customer-facing impact. The position emphasizes DevSecOps—AppSec and AI—not a generalist security role, with travel up to 25% and a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of presales/sales engineering experience.
• Foundational knowledge of Application Security and AI security concepts.
• Interest in AI/ML systems and governance considerations.
• Ability to translate complex tech into business value.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives to drive new business in Mid-Atlantic.
• Perform technical qualification, discovery, and positioning for AppSec/AI opportunities.
• Articulate AppSec/AI risks and tradeoffs to technical and security stakeholders.
• Learn new AppSec/AI technologies and articulate their value proposition.
• Support development of proposals and technical collateral.
