Job summary

GuidePoint Security LLC is seeking a DevSecOps Presales Solutions Engineer for the Mid-Atlantic region with remote work options across VA, MD, PA, NC, DE, NJ, or DC. The role focuses on AppSec and AI security and offers collaboration with senior engineers to drive new business.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of presales-facing experience, foundational AppSec/AI knowledge, and the ability to articulate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of presales, sales engineering, or comparable client-facing technical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of Application Security and/or AI security concepts.
• Interest in AI/ML systems and governance considerations.
• Ability to learn new cyber technologies quickly and articulate value propositions.
• Excellent discovery and technical qualification skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive new and continued business in the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Qualify, position, and solution AppSec and AI opportunities with senior engineers.
• Articulate risks, controls, and tradeoffs to technical and security stakeholders.
• Learn and articulate value of AppSec and AI technologies across buyer maturity levels.
• Support development of Statements of Work, proposals, and collateral.
• Engage in events and forums to raise awareness of GuidePoint's AppSec/AI offerings.
• Assist with technical collateral and solution proofs to support deals.
• Embrace emerging AI technologies to improve problem solving and outcomes.
• Report to Engineering leadership within the DevSecOps practice.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
