Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to scale and secure our public safety platform. You will own and improve infrastructure reliability, automate deployments, and enhance observability to empower engineering teams to deliver software faster and more reliably.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional partners to maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), implement GitOps with ArgoCD, and build tooling that reduces toil while supporting 24/7

Qualifications

5+ years of professional DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or similar infra-focused work.
Hands-on AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure expertise.
Experience designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
Familiarity with GitOps and ArgoCD deployment automation.
Automation scripting to improve infra ops and developer workflows.
Strong focus on reliability, security, and compliance best practices.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure for scalability and high availability.
Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
Improve platform observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting enhancements.
Build internal tooling to boost developer productivity and reduce manual work.
Collaborate with engineering to adopt DevOps best practices and improve deployment workflows.
Identify bottlenecks and reliability risks, and drive infrastructure improvement projects.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support production systems and incidents.
Own long-term platform health initiatives and reliability initiatives.
