Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale the cloud infrastructure behind our public safety platform. You will own automation, reliability, and observability across AWS/Azure environments, and partner with engineering to improve deployment workflows.

You will implement GitOps practices with ArgoCD, manage Kubernetes deployments with Helm, and build internal tooling to boost developer productivity while maintaining security and compliance across systems.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in DevOps/Platform/SRE roles.
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
Experience implementing monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
Familiarity with GitOps and deployment automation tools such as ArgoCD.
Scripting or programming to automate infrastructure operations and tooling.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure reliability, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure powering the Mark43 platform.
Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
Improve observability with monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
Create internal tooling to boost developer productivity and automate workflows.
Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams to raise platform reliability.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support production systems.
Lead infrastructure projects to improve scalability, stability, and health.
