Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure powering our public safety platform. You will focus on reliability, automation, observability, and enabling engineering teams to ship software efficiently.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and deployment automation tools such as ArgoCD.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and high availability.
• Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Improve platform observability with monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Build internal tools and automation to boost developer productivity and reduce manual work.
• Partner with engineering teams to adopt DevOps best practices and strengthen platform reliability.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and potential failure points.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support production systems.
• Lead infrastructure projects to enhance the Mark43 platform’s long-term health.
